Have you heard of Zylus Real Estate Investment and their mouth-watering returns?
Are you interested in investing with them to become a part of the real estate revolution in Nigeria?
If yes, then you need to look before you leap.
In this review, we’ll be taking a deep look at the Zylus Investment proposition to see if it is really worth the risk of investing at this time.
The final decision to invest with Zylus Investment would then be your prerogative.
That said, let’s dive in.
What Is Zylus Investment All About?
Zylus Investment Limited is an investment subsidiary of Zylus Group International.
Through Zylus Investment, the company raises funds for all its business projects which ranges from Real Estate, Transport, Media, and Agriculture.
Most prominently, Zylus Investment facilitates investments into its real estate projects for private and corporate clients.
The company claims to be introducing trendsetting innovations to the real estate industry, with a goal to make every Nigeria a property owner.
How Does Zylus Investment Make Money?
Zylus Group International operates in different sectors of the economy, with a dynamic plan to set up independently-operated subsidiaries.
In the real estate sector, the company makes money by constructing and selling real estate properties for both private and corporate clients.
Using its own funds and that of its investors, the company builds properties for outright purchase and rent-to-own schemes in several locations in Nigeria.
How to Invest in Zylus Investment
Zylus has a bouquet of investment plans from which investors can choose from.
Through Zylus Land Banking Development Project, investors can earn passive income by investing in real estate.
Through the Land Banking Project, investors can invest for a period of either 6 months or 12 months for a return of 15% or 35% respectively.
Through Rentizy, investors can invest in Real Estate with the aim of earning rental income without having to build or buy properties.
With a minimum investment of 1million Naira, investors can earn a 40% ROI in 14 months.
Property Savings Scheme
The Zylus Property Development Savings Scheme is a unique savings platform that allows investors to save a minimum of twenty thousand naira (₦20,000) monthly for a minimum of one (1) year to co-join the development of building projects for sale and earn a 25% return on annual savings calculated on a pro-rata basis.
The property Savings Scheme is managed by Zylus Elite Thrift and Credit Co-operative Society, a subsidiary of Zylus Group International.
How Much ROI Does Zylus Investment Offer?
Depending on the investment plan you choose with Zylus Group, you may get a ROI between 15% and 40% for investment duration ranging from 6 months to 14 months.
Is Zylus Investment Legit or Scam?
There is no way to ascertain if Zylus Investment is a scam, however, the company looks really promising.
Zylus Group International and all its subsidiaries are registered, and the company is regulated by the Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (LASRERA), and a member of Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN).
The company is also recognized as a long-time player of the real estate sector in Lagos State.
Can You Lose Money With Zylus Investment?
Zylus gives investors no guarantee of returns. So, you can lose 100% of your money if anything goes wrong.
And considering the nature of real estate investments in Nigeria, many things can go wrong.
Zylus however tries to assure its prospective investors by affirming that the company is “committed to scheduled payments regardless of the risks traditionally associated with real estate.”
The company also claims to give investors “the assurance of secured investments” because Zylus is “intentional about upholding the ethics” of their business.
However, that is not enough to guarantee that investors would receive their returns as at when due.
Zylus has not proven or shown any insurance cover for its projects, which means that the company is relying on its industry experience to manage the successful completion of its projects.
This is not sufficient enough to build investors’ trust considering the fact that Zylus is not putting enough resources in place to manage losses if and when they happen in such a risky endeavour like real estate development.
Should You Invest with Zylus Investment?
Investing with Zylus is quite dicey, but you can give them a trial. It is advised to invest with only money you can afford to lose.
Considering that they are regulated by the necessary real estate bodies, they would be required to follow specific real estate development regulations, which could significantly reduce some of their risks associated with real estate development in Nigeria.
I also like that Zylus has a short-term investment plan with the Land Banking Development Project, which allows investors to test the efficiency of the company by investing for just 6 months for a 15% return.
